Scentsy Story
Thanks for visiting my Scentsy website! I'm excited about these products, and I hope you will be too!I first stumbled upon Scentsy when I was searching the Internet for an honest, reliable way to earn some extra money for our household. While I found several decent home businesses during my search, Scentsy stuck with me the most. I think the reason the company stood out to me is because of its universal appeal. Not only did the products appeal to ME personally (I love the scent provided by candles!), but the concept could - or should - appeal to EVERYONE! (Who doesn't like to breathe in and experience a pleasant scent?)After several months of consideration, I finally joined Scentsy as an independent consultant in April of 2011. The more I thought about the advantages of the company, the more I realized that I couldn't really see any disadvantages to being able to offer such appealing products.Scentsy products can be enjoyed by anyone - men or women, young or old, stay-at-home moms or professionals. Scents are available to suit anyone's taste - from fresh-from-the-oven scents to tropical scents, from baby-power-fresh scents to romantic scents. They even have a line of "manly" scents! And the products can be used anywhere - at home, in the office, in a closet, in a locker, in a car, at a motel, on a boat... anywhere a pleasant scent would be appreciated!I mentioned that I love candles, but they can certainly be cumbersome. They can't be left burning for extended periods. They can't be left unattended. It's easy to forget to blow them out when you leave the house or go to bed. They can become fire hazards if they are left burning too long or if they're too close to a flammable object. They can aggravate some people's allergies or asthma. They can leave soot marks or scorch marks. And once they're burned down, they're gone, and all you're left with is an empty glass jar - one that may have cost you $20 or more if it contained a good-quality candle. Scentsy warmers use a low-watt bulb to gently warm blocks of scented wax. Very little electricity is used. There is no risk of fire (other than a freak electrical incident, of course). You can leave them on, worry-free, for extended periods of time. There is no mess from soot, and nothing gets scorched.I mentioned that I joined this company to make extra money, but the more I've learned about Scentsy products, the more I've realized that I'm even more excited about helping others discover ways to create wonderfully-scented environments of their own, in their homes or workplaces, and about creating my own cozy, peaceful environment in my home with the products offered. As I was creating a name for my Scentsy personal website (which you're visiting right now), I wanted to come up with something that would express my desire to help others get that happy feeling that comes with being surrounded by your favorite scents. That's where I came up with "Breathe In and Grin."I have just started on this journey, and I hope you'll get excited about joining me - as a customer or as a consultant.
